Here we have nine sheep who really don't get along.
If they find themselves within two squares of each other, vertically or horizontally, they start to fight.
Luckily, they don't fight if they are diagonal from each other or separated by a rock.
Can you place them all in positions so that they won't end up fighting?

Hint 2
Position a sheep near the middle of the farm.
Then make use of the diagonals to avoid horizontal or vertical proximity for the other sheep in the flock.
