When you give the command, they'll head off one at a time, always moving forwards and turning in accordance with any active arrows they pass over.
You can deactivate and reactivate arrows simply by touching them.
Robots passing over deactivated arrows continue in the direction they were already travelling.
You can only deactivate a certain number of arrows, and you cannot deactivate adjacent arrows, or their squares will turn red.
You fail if any robots end up in a loop, or travel outside of the puzzle area.
You also fail if a robot bumps into another robot, or passes over one of the starting squares of its fellows.
Tsk, technology, eh?
