An old clockmaker needs help setting the time on these three clocks.
The clocks each say different times.
One says 4:05, one says 2:18, and the other says 3:05.
One of the clocks is 32 minutes fast, another is 28 minutes slow, and one of them has stopped compltely.
Set them all to the correct time!
Try to work out which clokc is running fast and which clock is running slow.
Let's concentrate on the information that one clock is 32 minutes fast and one clock is 28 minutes slow.
What is the difference between the two?
There is exactly one hour between the clock that is running fast and the clock that is running slow.
Can you see which times are one hour apart?
The times on the clocks on the left and right are one hour apart, so this tells you which clocks are running fast and slow.
Now you just need to adjust the fast clock backwards and the slow clock forwards.
